Speaking at the EU’s ‘Beyond Growth’ Conference, President of the EU’s executive branch, Ursula von der Leyen, comments on the Club of Rome’s infamous ‘Limits To Growth’ report:
“[It came to] the conclusion: stop economic and population growth, or else our planet will not cope… [One] point that the report got right beyond any doubt… is the clear message that a growth model centred on fossil fuels is simply obsolete.”
What is clear beyond any doubt is that it’s impossible to run a prosperous first world economy without burning fossil fuels. But that’s the entire point, as mentioned previously:
“The Net Zero agenda is merely a trojan horse through which unelected globalist bodies like the United Nations and World Economic Forum intend to deliberately de-industrialise the West, reducing its formerly prosperous economies to third world, neo-feudal plantations—utterly dependent on the aforementioned globalist bodies for their very survival.”
